The hot chillies are a long green pepper used for pickling. When pickling with water, salt and white wine vinegar, the chilli’s colour becomes softer, tending towards yellow. Precisely, the spice of the chillis is beneficial for the stomach. The chemical component that composes them (capsaicin) causes an increase in the overall temperature of the body. Consequently, the body needs an extra supply of energy and it will go to the glycogen reserves to feed itself, causing you to lose weight. Other benefits of the hot chillies regular intake include:

We highlight from these products their crunchy texture and their vinegary flavour. Likewise, it’s worth mentioning that Stems are considered a star product by our elderly customers.

The capers are the fruit that lies on the stems. Just like the stems, they are pickled in a mixture of water, salt and vinegar. Small in calibre and oval in shape, the capers are the ideal pickle to accompany a smoked table such as salmon, cod and bonito. Likewise, the capers can be combined with a Mediterranean salad, tartare, carpaccio and fish. Finally, it’s worth mentioning the low caloric intake of this pickle.

A derivate from the stems, the capers (tapenones) are pickled in the same way, with water, salt and vinegar. With a calibre superior to capers (tápenas), these present a shape that is similar to a drop of water. When biting them, you can find their seeds on the inside.
