Canned and pasteurized olives can last up to 3 years.
Unpasteurized olives up to 9 months.
Olives in bulk (as is the case) are preferable to be consumed over a month.
At Aceitunas El Cortijo, we want to guarantee and prioritize the safety of our customers above all. This is why our products are analyzed by a laboratory, so we have a technical sheet about the content of allergens of each product related to the application of the Regulation (UE) n° 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the food information provided to the consumer.
All our products are tanned in water and salt except for the olives cured in soda. However, the flavour of the olives is mild so they should not be salty.
All our gourmet products, as well as the olives with the category of “Split Olives”, are seasoned by the company itself and in an artisanal way.
Indeed, the Mountain Olive, Chupadedos Olive (Yeyé) and Black Pearl Olive are cured in caustic soda. Due to their citation in soda, these three varieties of olives are the least salty ones, being an excellent choice for those hypertense people who still wish to enjoy the consumption of olives.
The olives must be kept in a cold and dry place and its container must remain hermetically closed. We must also mention that you should not mix old olives with new ones since the old olives can oxide the new ones. Finally, the olives being kept in the jar must be covered by the preservative liquid in the container. If this were not the case, you can add salt and water until they are completely covered.
The fact that olives are fattening is a myth since generally, olives provide over 150 calories for each 100gr, of which 82% of these fats helps us increase the levels o good cholesterol in our blood.
The olives and pickles present a great number of benefits for our organism. Among all the possible benefits that the consumption of olives and pickles can bring, we highlight the following:

- Its high fibre content helps regulate our digestive system.
- Satiating food that helps to maintain our weight for its low caloric intake and its high fibre content.

On the contrary, if the order placed does not exceed the said amount, the shipping cost may vary, taking into account multiple factors such as the weight of the merchandise or the area of Spain in which you wish to receive the order.
